Red Sox center fielder Dave Henderson, whose home run in Game 5 of the ALCS helped the Red Sox overcome a 3-1 deficit against the Angels, got a low fastball to his liking from reliever Rick Aguilera and pounced on it, crushing it for a home runjust below the loge seats in left field.< types of roulette /p>
The Mets made it two straight in Game 4. Catcher Gary Carter smashed a pair of home runs and a double, Lenny Dykstra homered off the glove of Sox right fielder Dwight Evans, and the Mets rolled, 6-2. In Game 5, Bruce Hurst again frustrated the Mets, allowing 10 hits but just two runs while the going the distance. Gooden, meanwhile, couldn’t escape the fifth inning and took the 4-2 loss. So with the Series shifting back to Shea Stadium, the Red Sox needed just one victory to end their 68-year championship drought. Clemens pitched well, but so did Ojeda, and after nine innings the game was deadlocked, 3-3. Boston’s Dave Henderson led off the 10th with a home run, and a few minutes later Wade Boggs scored on Marty Barrett’s single to give the Sox a 5-3 lead.
Each team made defensive errors in their side of the ninth to put runners on, but home plate remained clean and the game headed to extra innings. The Red Sox, seeking their first championship in 68 years, needed just one more push to bring it home – and it appeared they did just that when Dave Henderson homered and Wade Boggs doubled and later scored on an RBI single by Marty Barrett. Going into the bottom of the 10th, Boston carried a 5-3 lead.

But in the moments after a 11-4 win in Game 4, reliever Clay Holmes said they also understood how a victory could tilt the outlook of the series. The biggest reason: They had ace Gerrit Cole ready to start Wednesday.
Legendary radio sports commentator John Sterling surprised fans with a return to the microphone just in time to celebrate the Yankees’ Game 4 win of the World Series. NBC’s Jesse Kirsch reports for “TODAY.”
“Just look at this game,” Freeman said, and he started listing everything that had unfolded. Four innings of shutout baseball. The Dodgers manufacturing a run on a sacrifice fly. Giancarlo Stanton countering with a towering two-run home run. The Dodgers punching back with a run off Yankees closer Luke Weaver. The Yankees seemingly going ahead on what appeared to be a Gleyber Torres home run, only for it to be ruled interference when a Dodgers fan reached over the fence to snag it, which was confirmed by replay. New York tagging Los Angeles’ best reliever, Blake Treinen, for a run in the 10th. And the tension of the bottom of the 10th: a walk and an infield single to bring up Shohei Ohtani, whose foul out to left advanced the runners to second and third, opening up a base for Yankees manager Aaron Boone to intentionally walk Mookie Betts, giving Freeman the matchup against Cortes, who hadn’t thrown a pitch since Sept. 18.
While Yankees fans enjoyed the effort, they also held their breaths remembering last year when Judge ran through the right field fence at Dodger Stadium. That herculean effort injured his right foot and derailed the team’s season.
This game had plenty. Before the first pitch, there was already built-in tension for the starters: Gerrit Cole and Jack Flaherty, two right-handers who grew up in Southern California. The Dodgers had tried desperately to sign Cole when he was a free agent, and the Yankees tried to trade for Flaherty in July only to back away, and the two men, now playing against their one-time suitors, spent the early innings one-upping each other.

Biggest open world game world
The game itself is nothing to brag about, it is somewhat confusing at times and the gameplay is a little underwhelming when there are other franchises out there with exponentially better games. But the only reason this game makes the list is because of the map size, and nothing else.
Most 4X and roguelike games make use of procedural generation to some extent to generate game levels. SpeedTree is an example of a developer-oriented tool used in the development of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and aimed at speeding up the level design process. Procedural generation also made it possible for the developers of Elite, David Braben and Ian Bell, to fit the entire game—including thousands of planets, dozens of trade commodities, multiple ship types and a plausible economic system—into less than 22 kilobytes of memory. More recently, No Man’s Sky procedurally generated over 18 quintillion planets including flora, fauna, and other features that can be researched and explored.
I’d probably still argue that Burnout 3 is the highlight of this incredible racing series, though it’s difficult to deny that the decision to pivot to an open world in Paradise opened up new possibilities for a series that suddenly needed to raise the stakes.
One of the most recognizable names to be featured on this list, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim was the title which propelled the Elder Scrolls series into the public consciousness. An epic fantasy experience full of dungeon crawling and dragon slaying, it’s is so well-known that your grandmother hasn’t just heard of it — she’s the headmaster of the Guild of Mages.
In Minecraft, you kind of have to find ways to make your own fun. While the game has a set goal, players are free to pursue it (or ignore it) as they see fit. Do you strip mine a mountain for diamonds, or do you create a farm? If for whatever reason you find yourself bored with solo pursuits, you can always hop on another server and explore its randomly generated with friends that can help you build giant, digital monuments or pursue any other number of imaginative goals. Even if Minecraft wasn’t updated with such regularity, the game is so full of mods that it has literally infinite entertainment potential.
For many fans of the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was the high watermark that the other games in the series never reached. This is partly because it gave the player their own pirate vessel and allowed them to explore the open seas of a vast game world. Sure, other games in the series give players the ability to travel via ship, but not as a swashbuckling pirate.
