I know the player base is really low however apparently the situation is dire, as they just announced the termination of Madworld is coming July 4th. I guess I’m just making this post to see what other more experienced players think of this. I would really love to see them make an offline mode for preservation and they could just charge a flat fee for a single player experience with maybe peer to peer co-op dungeons. I’ve seen online worlds I love end in the past but I think this one just hurts a little worse because it reminded me of being a kid again playing flash MMOs like adventure quest worlds just more adult themes and gore.

Right from the opening level enemies spawn from everywhere and show absolutely no mercy; “Ninja Gaiden” wastes little time in allowing players to become familiar with the mechanics. Ryu is by no means an under-powered protagonist, but “Ninja Gaiden” punishes every single mistake and even fodder opponents are not to be taken lightly.
That being said, it’s the first Dark Souls game that deserves accolades when it comes to difficulty. The title took the Demon’s Souls formula and made it even harder, and bleaker, and filled its dark world with so many masochistic delights it would make a Cenebite blush. Elden Ring may have taken the series into the light, but it was Dark Souls that enveloped players in FromSoft’s addictive shroud.
We’re grouping the Souls family into one entry to stop the whole list from becoming dominated by FromSoftware’s titles. Most of the Souls games follow a similar but punishing, formula. Elden Ring is actually one of the easier options despite having some of the hardest late-game bosses such as Malenia or Promised Consort Radahn.
A game that literally throws players into the meat grinder, “Super Meat Boy” is a throwback to NES-era platformers where a high difficulty was used to prolong an otherwise short campaign. The only difference is… “Super Meat Boy” has around 300 levels, pitch-perfect controls, and never feels cheap. Also, it is arguably harder than most NES games. Playing as a cube of meat trying to survive level after level riddled with blades, salt and various other obstacles, “Super Meat Boy” rarely gives you the chance to breathe or get comfortable; in fact, a split-second tends to be the difference between your character and an unidentifiable red stain.
One bad move and it’s all over. Super Meat Boy is an excellent twitch platformer with tight controls and 300 levels designed to make your blood pressure rise. There are a frighteningly large number of spikes, whirring blades, and swords that can turn you into mince meat at a moment’s notice, sending you all the way back to the start of the level.
