Every Ninja Gaiden game is ridiculously hard and only those who master its mechanics will ever truly love it. There is an easy mode, but the game will laugh at you and call you a Ninja Dog. The first is probably the hardest, but all three Ninja Gaiden adventures will test any player’s metal.
If we were counting user-created levels, “Geometry Dash” would be a contender for the top spot on our list. But even the base game of this musical platform runner makes us want to dash our heads against something! Each level propels you through a brightly colored, musical platforming gauntlet and if you hit something, you die and have to start over. While you only use one button to jump, various portals can switch up elements of the environment, which can either help you, or leave you more confused and frustrated. Practice makes perfect, but you’ll have to practice a lot to get anywhere close to perfect in “Geometry Dash.”

There’s a limb-based button layout and move lists that seem to scroll forever, with an entrancing backing track of pulsing, aggressive rave beats. And bears! Did I mention the bears? There are two of them.While the recent Street Fighter 6 seems to have been thoughtfully designed to be the most broadly appealing fighting game ever, Tekken 8 has set its sights on being the most Tekken fighting game ever. Street Fighter II remains a classic in video game lore, making series mainstays Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li as well as words like “Hadouken” part of the public lexicon. Everyone has a favorite character and that’s because of its diverse, fantastical character design. While exceptionally balanced, the imaginative design and high-end graphics for its time helped set it apart. Street Fighter II became perhaps the first fighting game global arcade smash and it is still celebrated today. – Christian Holt
This may sound weird, but a good combat system is the first thing I look at when I see an open-world RPG. I can sort of get behind a mediocre story, world, or cast of characters, but if the fighting isn’t satisfying, then I’d rather just play something else.

1. 2011: Cardinals 10, Rangers 9 (Forced Game 7)Texas took a 7-5 lead into the bottom of the ninth and had St. Louis down to its last strike before David Freese’s game-tying triple over the head of right fielder Nelson Cruz. A Josh Hamilton two-run homer in the 10th put the Rangers back in front, but the Cardinals again survived being down to their last strike, as Lance Berkman knotted things up with an RBI single. Freese then played hero once more with his walk-off homer in the 11th, and St. Louis took Game 7 the next night.
New York’s Ron Darling was equally effective, yielding only one unearned run in the seventh inning when second baseman Tim Teufel committed an error by letting a ground ball from Rich Gedman go through his legs, allowing Jim Rice to score from second. Red Sox closer Calvin Schiraldi, acquired from the Mets in the previous offseason, walked Darryl Strawberry to lead off the bottom of the ninth inning. However, Schiraldi got Knight to force out Strawberry at second base and then got Wally Backman to fly out to left field. With two outs, Danny Heep pinch hit for Rafael Santana. Schiraldi worked Heep to a 2–2 count and then struck him out swinging to solidify the victory.
Schiraldi got two quick strikes on the Mets’ third baseman, who had already driven in one run so far. However, with his team within one strike of that elusive championship, he could not finish the job as Knight singled to left-center. Carter scored from second standing up and the speedy Mitchell advanced to third. Finally, McNamara decided his closer had seen enough and called for the veteran Stanley to try to close out the game. Some later speculated as to why Stanley, who had been warmed up by the time the tenth inning began, had not been called upon earlier instead of McNamara asking for a third inning out of Schiraldi, who had already blown the save in the eighth.
