New world game

IGN’s Top 100 games list encompasses the best of the best throughout history, spanning generations of consoles, PCs, handhelds, and more. Our list last saw a major update back in 2019, and since then, there have been several games released that deserved to be added. Just as importantly, we looked at the totality of the top 100 as it stood and asked ourselves a few key questions. This lead to some beloved games dropping off, and other games we previously missed being added.
Many are eager to bury recent Bethesda games in order to elevate Kingdom Come’s virtues, and I can honestly understand the enthusiasm to do so. Though not nearly as refined or well-produced as the best Elder Scrolls games, it does feature a more “hardcore” historically driven version of that fundamental role-playing experience that emphasizes immersion even at the cost of a higher learning curve. I also had trouble playing SMB3, which I HAD played a lot of and used to be quite good at. In that case, I missed a bunch of jumps I used to get, or would run off of platforms when trying to jump gaps. I’d chalk up those problems to latency. I’ve heard playing it directly on the gamepad in that case aleviated it some? I forget. No solution for you either way.

I’ve always thought Mario games are pretty hard in general. There is something about the momentum and floatiness of the controls that just gets me into trouble. I’m not even that bad at platforming games, I’ve done ok in some hard ones. A+ on most of light world super meat boy, and I beat the dark worlds. I’m a big fan of Dustforce as well. But Mario specifically always comes off as disproportionally difficult for its reputation to me. XD

Yankees: Soto reached base twice in Game 4, working a walk and knocking a double, and he leads the Yankees with a 1.015 OPS during the World Series. Rizzo has a .412 on-base percentage in this Fall Classic, with two hits, three walks and two hit-by-pitches. Perhaps Judge’s eighth-inning RBI single, his first World Series RBI, sparks the captain’s bat. He’s 2-for-15 in the Series.
