That edition was originally intended to be held in 2021, but it was delayed one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
No parasport federations are currently part of the IWGA, but The World Games in Birmingham was the first edition to include parasports, with the inclusion of wheelchair rugby. Birmingham was also to include disabled athletes (one per gender) in archery. The IWGA is also aiming to secure a partnership with the International Paralympic Committee and include a quota for para-athletes. : 1

It’s entirely possible. I can’t in good conscience declare it the best World Series game ever because there was no one facing elimination. The best World Series games are Game 7s (1960, 1991, 2014, 2016, etc.). There were some other elite-tier games later in the series in recent memory (how about 2011 Game 6?). But holy smokes, what more could we have asked for from Game 1 of the 2024 World Series between the Dodgers and the Yankees?

In the National League Championship Series, they defeated the New York Mets in six games to win their 25th pennant in franchise history and return to the World Series for the first time since their championship season in 2020, and the fourth time in eight years (2017–2018, 2020, and 2024). The Dodgers were just the second team in MLB history to face the two New York baseball teams in a single postseason, following the 1999 Braves.
