Star Wars’ history with video games is decidedly hit and miss, but we’re happy to report that Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga undoubtedly in the former category, and if you have any fondness for the films and enjoy talking Lego figures cracking dumb jokes, then you should probably get it played ASAP.
The big problem here is that while the galaxy is full of stuff to do, it didn’t take long before I simply decided I didn’t want to do any of it, because it just didn’t feel particularly engaging or interesting. A major factor in this is that many of the rewards or treasures I did chase ended up being paint jobs for Kay’s speeder, or engine color options for the Trailblazer. I have no issue with cosmetic rewards. However, if I spend an aggravating 30 minutes trying to be a good little space thief who sneaks by Jabba the Hutt’s veritable army of miscellaneous goons, only to discover that inside the shiny treasure chest in his heavily guarded Tatooine basement is a spaceship paint job, well… that’s kind of annoying.
I left my first 15-ish hours with Star Wars Outlaws feeling not fully enthused, but hopeful that the game would turn out to be a good time. The protagonist, Kay Vess, was starting to grow on me as a character. I was enjoying the look and feel of the various Star Wars locations the game goes to.
I’m fascinated by all things tech, but if you were going to leave me on a desert island, I’d probably ask for my Nintendo Switch, a drone, and a pair of noise-cancelling cans to block out the relentless seagull racket. When I’m not on Stuff duty you’ll probably find me subscribing to too many podcasts, playing too many video games, or telling anyone who will listen that Spurs are going to win a trophy this season.

The Crownlands is comprised of King’s Landing, the area surrounding the city, Blackwater Bay, and the castle of Dragonstone – culturally defined mainly by its nature as the continent’s capital. This location features prominently in House of the Dragon season 1, as it served as the jumping off point for Aegon I’s conquest of Westeros. After he emerged victorious and united the Seven Kingdoms, he started building the Red Keep. Before that, Aegon and the Targaryens ruled from Dragonstone, the former westernmost stronghold of the Valyrian Freehold, which was later taken over by House Baratheon after Robert’s Rebellion. The city of King’s Landing itself is the largest and most populous city in Westeros and was also home to the Sept of Baelor – the seat of religious power on the continent – until the holy place was destroyed by Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones season 6. After Drogon melted the Iron Throne, the seat of King’s Landing was given to King Bran of House Stark, capping off the last and most controversial Game of Thrones season.

It’s the sort of thing that can crush a team, and Boone is going to need to rally his team before Game 2 to ensure this series doesn’t spiral before the Yankees head home. There are no pep talks or anything one can say to take away the pain of losing like that. The Yankees simply need to understand: They’re here for a reason, regardless of how much it hurts.
