With an unflappable team effort, the Dodgers claimed their second World Series title in the last five years and their first in a full season since 1988 by beating the Yankees in Game 5 on Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium https://menrich-press.com/dota-2-lima-major/.
9:50 p.m. — TEOSCAR TIES IT! Over the last three at-bats, the Dodgers have gone from no runs to on the brink of a World Series title thanks to a double off the wall in front of Judge, allowing Betts and Freeman to round the bases. Muncy is up with one on and two outs.
The battle of superteams and superstars went to the Dodgers and Ohtani. He won his first World Series, even as he barely contributed. Freeman tormented Yankees pitchers all series, and he was the clear MVP. Tommy Edman, acquired at the trade deadline, followed his NL Championship Series MVP performance with another excellent showing. Teoscar Hernandez was clutch too.
Bottom of the second: Anthony Volpe, who hit a grand slam in Game 4, led with a double down the left-field line off Dodgers starter Jack Flaherty. Austin Wells grounded out to first base, moving Volpe to third.
9:33 p.m. — Kiké earns the Dodgers first hit of the night on a single to Soto, snatching Cole’s no-hitter. Edman steps up and adds another on a fielding error by Judge, who makes his first mistake of the night. Smith is up with two on and no outs.

Altuve was inadvertently involved in a bit of a controversy in the bottom of the fifth, when he was forced out at second. Manager Dusty Baker challenged the play, suggesting that Edmundo Sosa did not touch the second base bag when he received the throw.

Houston taxed Phillies starter Zack Wheeler for five runs in five innings. The Astros jumped him for two in the first three batters and three total in the first. The Series heads to Philadelphia for Game 3 on Halloween Night.
