Humberly González provided both the motion capture and voice for Kay, while Dee Bradley Baker voiced Nix. González had previously worked with Ubisoft on Far Cry 6, and Baker is known for his numerous roles in Star Wars media, including the animated series The Clone Wars (2008–14, 2020) and The Bad Batch (2021–2024). Star Wars Outlaws went gold in July 2024. The game was released for PlayStation 5, Windows (via the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect), and Xbox Series X/S on August 30, 2024. The PC version, along with the Wild Card DLC expansion, debuted on Steam on November 21, 2024, but immediately faced challenges in attracting players, with a peak of just 834 concurrent users.
