World hard game
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con on July 28, 2009. On June 8, 2010, Game Informer presented their first hands on, where it was revealed the game would be a timed exclusive for PlayStation Network, with an Xbox Live Arcade release at a later date learning how to sell. The first trailer for the game was released on June 11, 2010, which showed some of the stages in the game such as inside a club, on a street and noticeably inside a Toronto Transit Commission streetcar. The game makes various references to video games, such as River City Ransom, Mario, Kirby, Mega Man, and Guitar Hero. An early pitch video was revealed on August 11, 2010, which showcased even more retro graphics and direct parodies of classic games.
Initially choosing from either Scott, Ramona, Kim Pine, or Stephen Stills, up to four players must fight their way through the streets of Toronto, Canada in seven levels. Each stage is made up of multiple sections, culminating in a battle at the end with one of Ramona’s exes. Around each stage there are many shops, some of them hidden, as well as destructible objects and weapons that can be picked up. The way characters progress and level up is similar to Castle Crashers and earlier levels can be revisited.
The fourth Evil Ex-Boyfriend (actually a girl). She was Ramona’s college roomate and dated Ramona as part of a bi-curious “sexy phase” Ramona was going through at the time. She was Ramona’s ninja mentor and is actually quite friendly with her despite being a member of the League.

Top of the eighth: Kiké Hernández led with a single to left off Yankees reliever Tommy Kahnle. Tommy Edman followed with a broken-bat single that found the gap between third and short. Kahle walked Will Smith on four pitches to load the bases and end his night.
What earlier had been Judge crashing into the center-field wall to steal extra bases turned into Judge dropping a routine fly ball. What had been a Cy Young winner cruising, cool, confident, unbothered, devolved into an ace shaken and sweating and searching for an out. What had been a nascent no-hit bid became a five-run, three-blunder, 38-pitch inning. What had been a 5-0 lead was now a 5-5 tie. The Yankees defense failed Cole in the fifth inning, but he did his part in that, as he declined to cover the bag on a squibber to first baseman Anthony Rizzo.
Their shortcomings finally caught up with them in Game 5. A total meltdown of a fifth inning, one that will be remembered as one of the worst in World Series history, cost the Yankees their season. Aaron Judge flubbed a routine fly out for his first error of the entire year — regular season or postseason. Anthony Volpe couldn’t make an accurate throw to third base. Gerrit Cole didn’t cover first base on what would’ve been an inning-ending groundout, opening the floodgates. From there, the Dodgers scored five runs to tie the game. The Yankees retook the lead even after all of this — but fumbled it away again in the eighth inning.
Los Angeles erased a 5-0 deficit thanks to some incredibly sloppy play by the Yankees in the fifth inning, then rallied against New York’s bullpen in the eighth inning to take the lead. Game 3 starter Walker Buehler came out of the bullpen to get the save in Game 5. Here is the final out of the 2024 season:
Game 3 world series
Even with his stuff diminished by a second Tommy John surgery, the Dodgers starter delivered yet another World Series gem to put his team one win away from a championship. Buehler went five scoreless innings in Game 3, and at 76 pitches, he could have kept going. It was his best start of the year, and it predictably came on the biggest stage.
Yamamoto had a commanding performance across 6.1 innings, allowing just one hit (home run via Juan Soto) and recording four strikeouts. However, Shohei Ohtani suffered a partially dislocated left shoulder after he landed awkwardly on an attempt to steal second base in the last play of the bottom of the seventh inning.
Buehler returned from Tommy John surgery in May and had a 5.38 ERA in the regular season. He allowed six runs in the second inning of his first playoff start, and everything suggested that he was a diminished version of a once-great Dodgers starter. But Buehler looked like his old self in Game 3, and he’s now pitched 12 consecutive scoreless innings this postseason. He doesn’t have his former velocity, but he’s remained aggressive and found ways to beat some of the game’s best hitters.
Looking much healthier after a sprained right ankle slowed him earlier this postseason, Freeman connected for the first game-ending grand slam in World Series history to win a dramatic opener in Los Angeles.
