Game 5 world series 2024
JokuPelle, i like demo and i have full version of game on phone. But there are a few things from full version i would bring to demo. 1. “Die” button, there is no way its not there https://aheadofthespread.com/.What if i need to kill some country? 2. God mode, but ok the full god mode is too much so, i would bring “Spawn Nations while in game” like when game starts and you can still spawn nations! This is needed! 3. Gold, you know why – Gold leaderboard is cool, and other this with gold too! And finaly… Multiple countryes in one ally! Like, i don`t like that i can ally with one person. Oh, and yea. Ally leaderboard, with strongest teams, and big country texts.. JokuPelle pls do this, its no biggie 🙁 (Please)

Game 5 world series 2024
So let’s do our best to tell you about Game 5 of the 2024 World Series — the game that crowned the Los Angeles Dodgers the champions of baseball, but also very possibly the craziest World Series clincher ever.
• Aaron Judge and Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit the fifth set of back-to-back homers in Yankees World Series history in the first inning of Game 5. They joined 1977 Game 5 Thurman Munson and Reggie Jackson, 1964 Game 6 Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle, 1932 Game 3 Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig and 1928 Game 4 Ruth and Gehrig. The Yankees are the first team in World Series history to hit multiple home runs in the first inning of a game when facing elimination. With the Dodgers in Game 2, this was the first time there were multiple sets of back-to-back home runs in a single World Series.
On the other hand, the Yankees have now lit the “E” light at least three times in five World Series games in their history — most recently in The Luis Gonzalez Game (Game 7) in 2001. They’re 1-4 when they try that. And the only time they ever committed that many errors and won was Game 7 of the 1952 World Series against the Dodgers, when they made four errors and still won (somehow).
In Oshu, the small rural town where Shohei Ohtani grew up, baseball is as much a part of the landscape as the farmers’ fields and low-rise hills surrounding it. The area has long been known for its beef and ironwork. Now it’s famous for Ohtani.
We all are at a tavern on St. Marks Place in Manhattan. Dodgers fans line the curb outside, infuriating passing Yankees fans, who really can’t say anything because the Yankees are at this moment down 2-0 in the World Series to the Dodgers and currently losing 4-0 in Game 3, which (spoiler alert!) they will go on to lose.

Game 1 world series
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team stay on the field for 20 minutes after a final play just to watch in awe and to soak in the fans,” said Blake Treinen after the game. “I mean that was the most incredible moment in baseball I’ve seen. I’ve been blessed to see a lot of things in my career, that’s now the top.”
In all best-of-seven series, teams winning Game 1 have gone on to take the series 125 of 191 times (65%). That includes 23 of 29 times (79%) in the World Series since 1995. In all series under the current 2-3-2 format, teams winning Game 1 at home have gone on to take the series 68 of 101 times (67%).
The Yankees took a 2-1 lead into the eighth inning and a 3-2 lead into the tenth inning, but the bullpen was unable to make either lead stand up. Los Angeles capitalized on several defensive mistakes and a questionable pitching decision in the tenth. The Dodgers are three wins away from their first World Series title since 2020, and their first in a 162-game season since 1988.
Betts brought Ohtani home with a sacrifice fly to knot the game up 2-2. The Yankees are a sloppy and undisciplined team, have been all season, and three times they gave the Dodgers an extra 90 feet in Game 1. Twice it burned them and cost them runs. The Yankees opened the door with poor defense and the Dodgers walked through. Credit to them for taking advantage.
The Yankees were perfectly positioned to close out the game, with Cole exiting after six-plus innings of one-run baseball and the Yankees bullpen fully rested. Ohtani disrupted those plans. He doubled high off the center-field wall off reliever Tommy Kahnle and took third when Soto’s throw short-hopped Gleyber Torres. Another misplay, another run on a sacrifice fly.
“I cannot believe what just happened,” Roberts said. “That’s what makes the Fall Classic a classic, right, because the stars come out and superstars make big plays, get big hits, in the biggest of moments. … I’m speechless right now.”
