Chahi acquired the rights to Another World’s intellectual property from Delphine Software International after they closed down in July 2004. Magic Productions then offered to port the game to mobile phones, and it was ported with help from Cyril Cogordan. Chahi saw that the game’s playability could be improved, so he used his old Amiga for reprogramming certain parts of the script and made the graphics’ shading clearer in order to counter mobile phones’ low resolutions. In July 2005, almost a decade and a half after it was first released on the Amiga, the game was released for mobile phone handsets using the Symbian operating system, thanks to Telcogames and developer Magic Productions. In 2006, Magic Productions also released a remastered Pocket PC version for Windows Mobile 5.0 OS or later in QVGA (320×240 resolution). Telcogames entered administration in 2008, closing the Magic Productions studio. The administrator’s letter to stakeholders mentions that its assets will be sold, but does not indicate to whom or mention Another World assets by name.

There are a few roguelites on this list, but FTL is unlike any of them. Take control of a spaceship on the run, recruit your crew, upgrade your guns, and fight off threats along the way. We’ve put dozens of hours into this game and still haven’t finished, but that hardcore difficulty is just a part of its charm – after all, surely you’ll have better luck on the next run. Surely your best crewmate can’t get kidnapped by aliens this time. Plus, you should have sucked those borders out of the airlock, and you should have used the depressurization to put out those fires while you were at it. Idiot.

Game 3 world series

The Dodgers had runners on first and third with no outs in the fourth but didn’t score. The failed squeeze on the borderline call at home secured the first out. Yankees reliever Nestor Cortes then took over on the mound and struck out Shohei Ohtani and induced a lineout from Mookie Betts to end the inning.

The Astros’ top of the order was due up a third time in the sixth inning. Coming into this game, Anderson had a .756 opponents’ OPS the third time through the lineup this year (regular season and postseason), compared to a .535 OPS the second time through.

The last time the Yankees were down 2-0 in the World Series was 1996. Just like this year, that team had broken a 15-year World Series drought but had fallen in the first two contests. The 2024 version is hoping history repeats itself starting tonight.

The Dodgers have yet to announce a Game 4 starter. They may choose to deploy an opener, a role both Ryan Brasier and Michael Kopech have occupied in October. They can lean upon Ben Casparius, Landon Knack and Brent Honeywell for bulk. Kopech and lefties Alex Vesia and Anthony Banda have pitched in all three games this series. Closer Blake Treinen was not needed in Game 3, though he did warm in the ninth inning.

The PL-14 prototype of the Lebedev pistol is available in the game. It is incorrectly described as using 9x18mm Makarov ammunition as opposed to 9x19mm Parabellum. The Lebedev is unlocked at level 29.
